Excessive marine growth will accumulate quickly on your vessel depending on the present condition of the bottom paint as well as the location of your boat. Because of this growth activity, SCI Marine, Inc., recommends the monthly cleaning service versus the "one-time cleaning" option if you are keeping your boat in our five-county service area on a regular basis.

Excessive marine growth can cause the following problems during the use of the boat:

1. Vibration due to barnacle growth on propeller(s).
2. Vibration can cause needless cutlass bearing wear.

5. Overheating of mechanical items due to restricted
   saltwater intakes.

1. Deterioration of anti-fouling paint on hull and running gear.
